Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), is one of the most vocal libertarians in Congress, he’s constantly spoken out against ObamaCare and ridiculed Hillary regarding her subsidized healthcare plan. He is reportedly headed to Ontario later this year to receive hernia surgery and it’s pretty clear that a lot people in the Democratic Party and members of the GOP should be calling him out for this.
Rand Paul has spent most of his political tenure building a career promoting the libertarian myth called the “free market,” The fact that he needs to travel to Canada, a country which enjoys a socialized, single-payer healthcare system, to have the procedure performed just proves that TrumpCare is very badly broken.
So, I have some questions….
Are we Canadians expected to kick in our tax dollars for his operation?
Should we make him pay US prices for the procedure?
