EDITORIAL: Trudeau put his interests above ours

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau defends his actions in the SNC-Lavalin scandal by saying he was trying to save thousands of jobs in Quebec and across Canada because if the company was convicted of bribery it might go bankrupt or leave the country.

This because upon conviction SNC-Lavalin, which denies wrongdoing, would not be able to bid on federal government contracts for a decade.

There’s only one problem.
