No “national security” threat after Toronto arrests for possession of explosive materials

York Regional Police recently arrested father and son duo Reza Mohammadiasl, 47, and Mahyar Mohammadiasl, 18, after receiving a tip from Canadian border guards and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The two men were charged with possession of explosive materials, but luckily for anti-Islamophobia activists, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale has stepped in to let us know that there is no “national security” threat involved.

Don’t call it Islamic terrorism. Call it quality arts and crafts time!
