One of the worst nights of attacks in Beirut

Last night viewing from my balcony, and almost two hours after the air strikes on a location in the southern suburbs of Beirut, I could still see flashes and sparks every few seconds from there.

Some open sources and weapons experts on X suggest this was a weapon depot or a petrol station. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says it has carried out attacks on targets belonging to Hezbollah.

In the video I have recorded from the moment of a big secondary explosion, lots of traces visibly can be seen. It’s like giant fireworks.

At some point the sound of those explosions are small and from time to time big explosions are mixed with the sound of continuous Israeli air strikes on different parts of that area.

The sound of a drone buzzing overhead could be heard continuously - likely an IDF surveillance drone that was flying at a low altitude.

Strikes continued until early morning. This was the worst night of attacks that Beirut’s suburbs and the whole city has experienced since the start of this conflict.

Air strikes came after an evacuation warning was issued by the IDF on X.

The neighbourhoods around the attack site show some people tried to flee on foot as most of the road in that area has been damaged or blocked by debris due to heavy air raids in the past couple of weeks.
