Hedley’s management agency drops band amid sexual misconduct allegations
On Friday, the band’s managers, Watchdog Management and the Feldman Agency, issued a statement saying given the multiple allegations against Hedley, they will be terminating their business relationships with the band “effective immediately.”
Corus Radio, and several other radio stations, have also suspended playing all Hedley songs. The move follows claims from multiple social media users, who allege inappropriate behaviour by band members.
Many of the allegations relate to post-show interactions and conduct between the band and underage fans. Among those allegations is a claim that members of the band had invited underage extras from a music video shoot back to their hotel room.
The Vancouver-based band, which includes Jacob Hoggard, Dave Rosin, Tommy Mac and Jay Benison, have called the allegations unsubstantiated.
