A 42-year-old man from the Town of Halton Hills, whose name was not released, was arrested and charged with impaired driving, refuse to comply with a breath demand, and mischief over $5,000.
York police say impaired driving charges increased by 21% from 2016 to 2017 and the numbers are high for 2018.
