More patients are occupying hospital beds while waiting to receive care elsewhere — the equivalent of more than 10 large, 400-bed hospitals filled to capacity — every day.
“One of the things we’re seeing is hospital overcrowding and how it’s both a symptom and a source of cascading pressures throughout the system,” said Anna Greenberg, interim CEO of Health Quality Ontario.
The report also found patients are waiting longer to access long-term care, assisted living and home care, from both the hospital and the community.

Over crowding and longer wait times
But the good news Ontarian’s are living longer WTF ?
They are living longer because they are waiting for a hospital bed or surgery ????
Who wrote this shit Anna Greenberg, interim CEO of Health Quality Ontario
Ontarian’s can not complain about your service Because there ain’t any
Liberal brainwashing at its best.
According the Canadian Institute for Health Information’s website, the amount spent on health care in Ontario works out to $6,367 for every man, woman, trans and child per year. Money in the health care system therefore is NOT the problem – there is plenty of it. The problem is in how it is allocated – with far too much being pissed away on an over-paid and bloated upper and middle management structure. Slash their ranks by 50%, and slash the pay of those remaining by 25% – and we will have more than enough money in the existing budget for more beds and more front line staff (nurses, doctors, etc.). It’s just common sense.
