Virtually branded a racist, small landlord John Alabi loses at every turn.
The Divisional Court has just refused to overturn the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario decision ordering him to pay an astounding $12,000 for violating the religious rights of his Muslim tenants.
Despite his denials, the tribunal found he harassed the couple by not removing his shoes and failing to accommodate their prayer times when trying to arrange showings for prospective tenants.
Now he’s not only on the hook for the original $12,000 award but because he lost at Divisional Court, the Nigerian-born small landlord must pay their side’s $5,000 in legal costs as well.
The precedent set by the Divisional Court in this case can be summed up in 4 words: “Don’t Upset The Muzzies!”
Don’t rent to Muslims. Problem solved.
Unfortunately there is a law against that and it’s called discrimination and that goes back to the early 70’s when a land lord publicly stated that he would never rent to any East Indians as the ones he finally got evicted had planted a garden in the second bedroom of his new fourplex and these people drug in bags of dirt and placed the dirt on top of the carpet 6 inches deep and were growing their vegetables and the water they used finally leaked into the unit below and by this time the damage was $20 grand for repairs and these people even got to keep their damage deposit because they couldn’t understand English. That is when this land lord said to a reporter that he would never rent to a Paki again and the poor bastard was issued a summons and had to pay a fine for public discrimination. Canada screwed itself a long long time ago but diversity is our strength! Ya right, total BS.

Easy to do. Advertise your place for rent and only give an email address. No phone number.
Then only answer the emails you are interested in.

This is such bullshit. The only solution is not to rent or sell to Muslims. It is no wonder more and more Canadians have lost trust and confidence in the legal system. Why are these kangaroo-court human rights decisions so wrong so often. I suspect also that decisions like this are manipulated by the Liberals to keep Canada even more divided. No wonder so many have such strong negative opinions about Islam and Muslims. Professional victims. If they come to rent your apartment or house, simply take their application and then ignore it.
Here is one – This “Human Rights” Tribunal of Ontario offends me and I demand they investigate themselves. When they find they did offend me, they must pay me a huge amount of money ( $10.5 million would be appropriate ) and send themselves to jail after which they will fire themselves.
Never had a problem with the Indians, Sikhs and Persians when they rented a unit. Granted there is a long and very precise lease stipulating what they can and cannot do. My brother has had it translated into 4 languages (Chinese, Hindi, Farsi and English). We haven’t had any Arabs yet and they’d most likely be upset and leave when they see the Iranian language contract. The CJs and the Persians are like oil and water.
