Airport security screeners calling in sick amid the government shutdown

More than 150 workers, many of which are responsible for screening passengers, called in sick on Friday at Kennedy International Airport in New York, a union official told the news agency.

Officials at Harrisburg International Airport told PennLive on Friday that they had not seen or heard any issues with TSA officials calling out sick.

Officials at Philadelphia International Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Airport also said they have not heard of any issues a result of TSA call-offs.
