President Donald Trump pushed back on Twitter Friday evening on the narrative that he had conceded by reopening the government without getting funding for the border wall.
Trump tweeted, “I wish people would read or listen to my words on the Border Wall. This was in no way a concession. It was taking care of millions of people who were getting badly hurt by the Shutdown with the understanding that in 21 days, if no deal is done, it’s off to the races!”
Trump’s decision to reopen the government ends the longest shutdown in history.
One of the biggest supporters of the wall is Ann Coulter and she took to Twitter to express her displeasure about the deal.
The President has restored government and has let the democrats in the house decide what avenue they will employ to fund the wall. It will likely be the role of the minority house leader to present a bill to build the barriers as well as enhance overall southern border security. Senator Lindsey Graham is the point man in this endeavour and Pelosi is simply some dumb senile old fool who often loses her train of thought when having a pee. Chuckie Schumer is a nobody these days so all decisions will take this form. Kevin McCarthy will propose the bill and the house will vote in a non partisan fashion on it. Look going forward for this style of governance as it happened before with Tip O’Neil and Reagan. Shady business but Nancy needs to reassure her socialists that she is on their side while getting something past the senate. Trump is the least of her concerns….
