White House press secretary Sarah Sanders used Twitter to start the clock on Democrats opposed to President Donald Trump’s proposed border wall, giving them “21 days” until the president builds the wall “with or without the Democrats.”
“In 21 days President @realDonaldTrump is moving forward building the wall with or without the Democrats,” Sanders tweeted. “The only outstanding question is whether the Democrats want something or nothing.”
Sanders’ Friday night tweet came not long after Congress, with President Trump’s support, passed a continuing resolution to fund the government for three weeks. The deal, defined by Trump as “in no way a concession,” would fund the government through February 15.
Good. Build the wall whatever takes.
Lately visiting a capital and stayed in the area with all the major embassies I saw all of them has at least 12 feet walls. Some ( Russia for example) has maybe 15 ft. Concrete or steel with barb wires, spikes and other deterent devices. Never mind the security cameras, and police/ army guarding them.
The US embassy has the double walls even, like a fortified medieval castle. And looks like those walls are more than two year old…Hmmm.
So what’s the problem defending the country from unwanted people?
Why are walls around prisons? Why those liberal people from Hollywood has the 12 + ft tall walls/fences and all kind off security, when they all against the wall in the South border.
I can imagine if in some famous liberal’s home would get a bunch of “poor and prosecuted” people invading suddenly, empty the fridge, leave trash everywhere and change the channels on TV set, because they want to see their “culture” and traditions. And complain if anything is not in their like!
If Trump will not do the wall, he could say good-bye to the oval office in two years.
For over a month, the Democrats have hid behind “We can’t negotiate while the Government is shut down…” OK, now you’ve got 3 weeks to negotiate. What happens after that is ALL on you!!
The Democrats can either get on the ball and provide input toward the security on the Nation or just get the hell out of the way and quit interfering. They had the chance to be part of the solution to actually do some good for America and democracy in the world, but for some reason seem to be intent on destroying America. Disturbingly similar to what Trudeau is doing to Canada.
