A man has been knifed with a machete in a suspected homophobic attack outside a Sainsbury’s supermarket in London.
Police and paramedics were called to the store next to Canada Water Tube station at about 3.15pm on Tuesday.
Scotland Yard said a man had been attacked and that there “may be a homophobic motive”. He was rushed to hospital with a leg wound.
The suspect is believed to have fled the scene on a motorbike. No arrests have been made.
