The Conservatives are ahead in Western Canada while the Liberals are ahead in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. The races are relatively close in B.C. and Ontario. The New Democrats are on track to lose most or all of their seats in Quebec, while the Greens are holding double-digits in everywhere except Alberta and the Prairies. The Bloc Québécois is in range of winning at least the 12 seats needed for recognized party status in the House of Commons. The People’s Party has yet to show the concentration of support in any region of the country needed to win a seat, beyond potentially leader Maxime Bernier’s.
