A bus carrying reporters and Liberal staffers covering the Liberal leader’s campaign tour hit a Boeing 737 that had just arrived in Vancouver Wednesday evening.
No one was injured.
The plane, emblazoned with the name Trudeau in red capital letters, had just landed and offloaded passengers. Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau had already departed the airport.
The bus driver was departing and drove forward under the left wing of the plane but could not clear it.
Reporters heard a long scraping sound above their heads.
The Air Transat pilot watched in dismay from the stairs of the jet. The bus advanced out from under the wing where a visible gash marred the underside.
