#Ontario: College hit by another speaker cancellation – this time Dr. Phil

An evening with Dr. Phil McGraw, the third in a series of celebrity speaker events sponsored by Fanshawe College — none of which has happened as planned — has been postponed more than six months from its scheduled Nov. 14.

The blunt-talking Dr. Phil will now be in London for his talk — followed by an audience question-and-answer session moderated by former TSN broadcaster and mental health advocate Michael Landsberg — on May 27 at 8 p.m., according to the event listing on the Budweiser Gardens website.

The Dr. Phil date change comes on the heels of a recently postponed event with Kiss rocker Gene Simmons, who was expected to be in London Nov. 6, and follows a late September event with award-winning documentary maker Michael Moore that was cancelled for “unforeseen logistical circumstances.”
