A second Chick-Fil-A is coming to Toronto in 2020.
Indeed.com recently posted positions for the controversial U.S. chicken chain at Yorkdale Mall and in an e-mail on Monday, Chick-Fil-A spokesman Natasha Parnanzone confirmed the second T.O. opening.
The first outlet, which opened in September at 709 Yonge St., triggered a protest from activists who accused the chain of taking anti-LGBTQ stances. It was followed by a show of support by a participants in a Jesus on the City Parade who conducted a prayer stop.
