Just after the dirty piece of shit handed VW and Stellantis our money for battery plants they took the money and ran. To the US. Now the resident idiot of Ontario has invited some Norwegian company in to do the same. Sure, they’ll come in, build a skeleton plant just like the others, take the money (our money) and be gone.

(Think Aran wool look) The name carried over to the North American lexicon and the old hockey uniforms were indeed made of a full wool weave to keep the players warm. Hence the name Hockey SWEATER. They may be a “jersey” style now, but, in Hockey, they are still called SWEATERS.

Most prisoners are just trying to get through prison themselves and are too scared to do anything to jeopardize their time there. Got this from a prison guard that we used to live next to. Both him and his wife used to work at Maplehurst and then went to Penetanguishene. They had some great stories. Some hilarious and some sad.
His own daughter too and they have him admitting it all on a recording! What the hell does he have to appeal other than the sentence, which, if I understood correctly, amounts to about 50 years. Good judge as he was actually respectful (although I am sure he wanted to drop the fella right there) and explained his reasoning for the harsh sentencing.

What I’m finding a little frustrating is that that are no real time updates of new comments. You have to scroll back up to IFP and then to the date to relaunch the page. Even if you do see new comments were added you have to scroll through the comments to find them. That’s fine if there is 10 or so comments but not 200 or 300 hundred.
i’m getting an email but it doesn’t show the reply text, just a link back to here… so I have to scroll through eery comment to find out what someone said…

Hey Mark, it was awesome. Hot as fuck but awesome. One of the nicest beaches I have ever seen. We went to Blue Lagoon and Saona Island which is where the Pirates of the Caribbean series was filmed. Stunningly beautiful. Swiming in those waters was unreal.
Golfed 3 times, pretty expensive but it is a Pete Dye course, so it was amazing as well.
I shot 79-77-78 which is good for me, especially having not played the course previously, and I didn’t putt great so could have been even lower.
Drank a lot of beer, but a few nights we ripped it up with the rum which is hard on the head the next day. 🙂
Food was really good to which I was happy about, sometimes DR food can be hit or miss at resorts.
