(…) in large part thanks to public outcry, Dante’s is backpedalling on its decision to close this year, opting instead to keep the restaurant’s doors open for another 365 days to mark the pizzeria’s 50th anniversary in style.


“After careful consideration, and the overwhelming feedback, we have decided to reconsider our closing date,” a post from the restaurant’s Facebook page on Dec. 29 reads. “We WILL be here for another year!”
