Like those hockey and baseball cards from the 70’s with picture of balding, tired, or rough looking “old men”…until you turn them over only to see the player is only 28 in the photos…can you believe Lee’s incredible life….and here he is only 24 yeas old, its impossible to think he isn’t 10 years older or more.
 
IMHO he was an Intelligence operative…in a time where those agencies and their “enemy” counterparts weren’t as “at odds” as we think…a man is allowed to defect to the Soviet Union, marry the niece of a Red Army colonel, then UN-defect back WITH her and their kids…at the very height of the Cold War.
 
Appear on TV interviews, and be sighted on the street, and with ex-pat White Russians as both pro, and anti-commie..then get a job, miraculously, on the parade route.
 
Im sure he was told to observe, spy, and report back on the hardcore right-wing kooks they had crawling around Texas….and had no idea there was gonna be an assassination.
 
Then, as the experienced black-op gunmen escaped, he was set up..cruelly.. as the patsy, when he was just doing his duty.
