Two men were charged on the weekend with impaired operation of stolen vehicles, prompting London police to ask the public to call 911 if they see a driver they suspect to be drunk or high on drugs.
Police made the appeal after a stolen moving truck was abandoned Sunday morning on the front lawn of the men’s mission at 459 York St.
Officers identified a suspect after arriving at about 10 a.m. and located him a short distance from the mission. He was arrested for impaired operation after showing signs of being impaired by drugs, police said.
Police determined the eight-metre-long truck was stolen Saturday. The truck had damage to the driver’s side but did not crash into the Mission Services building.

How impaired was he? What was his BAC?
In my defence, I only borrowed the moving truck to get to the beer store before closing time.
90 thousand dollars a year and they are asking me to do their job !! they can fuck right off
If you were to do their job you’d be running red lights all the time. That’s what they do. They’ll turn on their flashers for the second or two it takes to get through the light, then turn them off again. Never use their siren because there is no emergency.
