I am on the cross-Canada pro-pipeline convoy, on its way to Justin Trudeau’s doorstep on Parliament Hill, in protest of his anti-Alberta, anti-oilsands legislation.
On Sunday night the convoy pulled into Sault Ste. Marie. Supporters lined the streets of this city to welcome these Albertans with open arms. A huge barbecue was donated by the locals, and an impromptu welcome rally was held.
This obviously upsets the fake news, bought and paid for media in Canada. Take Maclean’s magazine editor Andray Domise for example:
He lamented Doug Ford’s support for Albertan oil activists by defaming them all. He called them white nationalists.
In one fell swoop, a lead editor from one of Canada’s main national media outlets tarred and feathered a grassroots movement of tens of thousands of Canadians.
Even the most politically correct conservative in Canada, Jason Kenney, has voiced his support for the movement.
