Court evidence showed he forged dozens of fake “job offer” letters claiming non-existent religious worker positions at Sikh temples in Regina and Kelowna. On the eve of sentencing, defence lawyers alleged CBSA investigator Toban Tisdale had intimidated witnesses. Instead of an independent probe, Tisdale and colleagues allegedly started calling the very witnesses themselves, with the accused officer literally in the room or listening in the hallway.
